SIMON CARSON SPORTS SCHOOL

Simon Carson Soccer Schools was originally established in April 1993. Beginning with just two coaches the business has now grown and become a sports school with over 20 coaches currently employed.
The sports clubs take place at venues throughout the region ranging from Whitby to Hawes and Sunderland to York.

SCSS regularly run clubs during the school holidays and After School. The Company also run school P.E lessons, Lunchtime clubs and Evening Courses ranging from football sessions to multi skills and dance clubs.

Over the years SCSS have visited over 300 different schools and currently run over 100 sessions each week. Many footballing stars have attended the clubs over the years, most notably Tottenham captain and England international Michael Dawson as well as Premier League players like Bolton’s David Wheater, Middlesbrough’s Tony Mcmahon and Stoke’s Andrew Davies. Even film star Jamie Bell attended a course in his youth!

SCSS are constantly working to improve their courses as staff attend various workshops and increase their coaching qualifications. Our strong links with Middlesbrough College have led to the inclusion of Modern Apprentices as the company continues to go from strength to strength.

"After school, at both schools, coaches from Simon Carson's Sports Company come into work with us doing a multi-sports programme. We play games like football, volleyball, basketball, tennis and all sorts of other sports and games. They reward good behaviour, good sportsmanship and players of the day with medals and other treats.

We have a lot of fun with the coaches playing different sports because they are always cheerful and encourage you."
